Adaptive skating usa is not for profit 501 c 3 tax exempt charitable. Additionally we benefit the ice skating community by exposing ice skating to a wider more diverse audience by increasing its member base to be more inclusive of individuals with disabilities and by facilitating the sharing and donation of new and used equipment. Our specially designed equipment includes ice skates and ice walkers for afo rgo smo and pronated orthotics. Admission and equipment are provided free of cost but you have to pre register with the providing organization. You can enjoy the ice in many ways at an adaptive skating program. We have skaters who are over 6 feet 7 inches tall who have had great success with these. Ice sleds offer a seated option for skaters who cannot use their legs or who have balance issues.

Skaters must fill out a release form and meet our essential eligibility criteria for ice skating programs. Gliding stars adaptive ice skating provides individuals with disabilities opportunities to increase their personal potential.
